Pass Holders receive free entrance to Addo Elephant National Park
Discover the abundance of wildlife found in the Addo Elephant National Park. The park proudly conserves the Big 7 within its vast borders – stretching from the rugged plains of the Karoo to the untamed coastline.
Conveniently located only 40km from Port Elizabeth, the Park offers the best elephant viewing in the country. Visit any day of the year on a day trip or for an affordable overnight getaway. Experience a guided tour on safari vehicle or horseback, or set your own pace on a self-drive or 4x4 tour. Be captivated by iconic animals as they roam their natural surroundings. Test yourself on one of the Trail Run or Mountain Bike events in the Park. Cross the largest dunefield south of the equator on the two-day Alexandria Hiking Trail. There are 3 alternative routes to Addo from Port Elizabeth. The recommended route is as follows: Take the N2 highway towards Grahamstown, pass Coega harbour on your right. Cross the Sundays River bridge. Turn off to your left at the sign that says “Camp Matyholweni"
